This photo is Shanti as a tiny baby. She was a surprise birth. Her mother, Lola came to us because she had deformed front legs and had given birth to Lucy (who is also with us) and the person who bred llamas didn’t want Lola to get pregnant again. Surprise, she was already pregnant. On July 12, 2002 I came home to find Shanti standing in the pasture. She is a beautiful, sweet girl.
