Inka-
"I was born to be a communicator, to connect with other species and to share my energy and my wisdom. This path is fulfilling for me--there is so much to learn, so much to gain from getting to know each other and celebrating our sameness as well as our differences. Each species has a unique view of life, and each individual of that species has his or her own individual perspective.
"I have asked to be the moderator of this section of the website. Here we can explore the ideas and opinions of many species. We animals can learn a lot about you through your questions, so you see, it is an exchange of energy, a benefit to all. Let us begin this dialogue."
This section of the website was Inka's idea. At first I thought he wanted to write a "Dear Inka" column but he corrected me immediately. This is a place to explore our relationships with each other. The people can ask whatever questions they wish. They can direct their questions to one of the Hummingbird Farm animals or to a particular species. Inka is hoping to receive a lot of deep philosophical questions, his specialty, but says that all questions are welcome. It is my intention that we create a forum that is enticing, heart expanding, mind altering, informative, enlightening, and fun.
I’m so happy to get this dialogue started again. For a long time I had no one to post the questions and answers so it became dormant. But, now I know how to update things myself so this section will be updated monthly. If you don't see the answer to your question right away, please check back.
Blessings, Tera Thomas

Interview with Inka-
Tera: Inka, can you tell the people a little bit about yourself and how you came to Hummingbird Farm?
Inka: I am a proud member of the species of llama. I knew at a very early age that I was to be a teacher and a representative of my species. I knew that someone was coming to the farm where I lived that would ask me to be a partner in the work of assisting humans to remember their connection to All That Is. On the day that Tera came to my farm, I was only 4 months old and playing with my brothers at the back of the pasture. But, I felt her arrive and came running to meet her at the fence. All the way across the pasture I was calling out to her, "It's me! It's me! I'm the one you are looking for!" When I reached the fence where she was I rubbed my face all over her face and I knew that she knew that I was the one. My caretaker told her that she would have to wait 5 or 6 months because I was too young to leave my mother and she said OK! She also told me I could pick one of my brothers to come to her farm with me so I picked Rainbow.
Tera: Tell us about llamas and their specific work on the planet.
Inka: I am a son of the Andes, a very special and sacred vortex on the planet. My name, Inka, means son of the sun and is spelled in the old way instead of the English way. Its vibration is strong and sacred and connected to the concept of Inka--which is more than a tribe of people, it is a way of life.
Many llamas are teachers, some in very quiet and subtle ways, others in quite specific ways like me. All llamas carry the wisdom from the stars and balance it with the earth. We offer that gift of balance and knowledge to all who are open to receive it.
We work with the subtle energy fields of the earth and of specific physical bodies. For example, when we work with the humans that come to our home, we view their energy as a map of colors. If one of the colors is missing or if there is too much of a color in a person's field, we assist that person to correct their balance. This is usually done without the person's conscious awareness, but often we will mention in the workshop that a specific color would be beneficial for that person. Also, we assist others to bring the energy of spirit through their bodies and to connect it and manifest it on the earth.
For people who don't want to think about energy fields or manifesting spirit, I would say, we just make others feel good. Many people who live with llamas could not tell you specifically what the llamas do, but they will say that when they spend time with llamas the people feel more relaxed, their stress level decreases and they just feel good. Who needs to know why? That's what some people think and that is okay with us. We are very pleased to do our work in that subtle, silent way.
Tera: In your opinion what would most benefit people at this time?
Inka: To love and trust themselves. It is sometimes difficult for us to understand why it is so hard for humans to love themselves. You are so fortunate to have a physical body and to be present on this planet, how could you not love yourself? Yet, we do understand that this is an issue for many humans. Also, trust is an issue. We llamas do often have difficulty learning to trust some humans, but we do not question our connection to spirit and our trust of All That Is. It is a part of us as it is a part of all species. We think that humans have only forgotten this connection and that if we can help them remember it, they will love and trust themselves. This is what we pray for, a world where all remember that we are connected, that we all matter, that we are all spiritual beings born of love. We stay focused on this vision and see the beauty in all beings.
