Learning from Animal Teachers: A Path to Conscious Connection with All Beings
From an early age I felt a deep trust and kinship with animals. While there are many wonderful human teachers and healers and I have learned from them, animals are the ones who were able to touch my heart and put me on a path of wisdom that comes from a space of love and inclusion.
If animals touch your heart, come walk this path with us. Allow the animals to lead you to the place of connection and wholeness waiting to be ignited deep within your own heart.
When you open your heart to a deeper relationship with your animal companions something wonderful happens: your connection to everything and everyone begins to enter your awareness and your perspective on life will change. You begin to realize that what you think and do matters, that your feelings and intentions are perceived by others all the time, that you are not alone or separate, that you are not above or below other species or even members of your own species.
These realizations are incredibly wonderful and can also be challenging. An increase in awareness means an increase in responsibility and this begins to change the world—your inner world and the outer world you live in. Open your heart, allow your life to change, take responsibility as a member of the huge family of life on this planet, allow it all to flow through you and wake up the world. You will cry deeper tears and laugh a deeper laughter and feel more alive than you ever felt possible.
Awakening Our Connection: We are connected to all species, all living beings. Some of us have lost the awareness of that connection and long to feel it again, or to deepen the connection we have. Through stories and exercises you will see your animal friends in a way you never have before and begin to understand their point of view. You will leave this class with new understanding, better communication, and a deeper relationship with your animal companions that will blossom and grow and fill your life with meaning. This 2-day class is taught from noon-5pm and the fee is $175. January 17 & 18, May 2 & 3, July 18 & 19, October 24 & 25
Celebrating Our Connection: We begin each day of this class by connecting with the Earth and linking our energies together as a group. Find a deeper connection inside of yourself by communing with the animals, the earth, mineral, and plant kingdoms, and honoring the spirit in all of life.
We will spend time bringing to our conscious awareness the patterns that no longer serve us and are ready to be released from our lives. On Sunday we will perform a fire ceremony to cleanse ourselves, release these old patterns, and renew our commitment to ourselves and to the earth. This class is taught on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm, the fee is $220. March 28 & 29, September 26 & 27
Living in Partnership: Recognizing our connection with all of life is only the beginning. How can we bring this connection deeper into ourselves and walk this Earth with the knowledge of every living being in each step we take and live each day in this awareness? It is the animals that will teach us how. We will spend the weekend in close connection with the Hummingbird Farm animals, the land, the plants and trees, and Mother Earth herself through ritual, prayer, and honoring the spirit in all of life.
This is an opportunity to go beyond your "ideas" of connection and become one with All that Is. We will explore the areas of shape shifting, story telling, journeying, and living prayer. We'll end on Sunday with a ceremony to consecrate our deepening relationship with all beings. This class is on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm, the fee is $220. June 20 & 21, November 7 & 8
Monthly Mentoring Teleclass: An hour of guided meditations, talking about and with animals and our deepening connection. It’s fun, rewarding, and easy. One hour by phone. $20.

Volunteer Work Days: Come lend a hand the second Saturday of each month! We all work together so no one has to work too hard. It’s fun and rewarding and you get to spend time with the HF animals!
