Be Part of Hummingbird Farm
Hummingbird Farm is here for all of us, a place where animals and people can heal, remember, and rejuvenate their connection to all of life and join together to create a better world.
We’re hoping to get our new yurt classroom up in the next few months and, as always, we are constantly looking for new ways to bring a world of peace, connection, and respect for all of life into a deeper, more concrete awareness for all people.
If you’d like to, here are some ways you can help to support Hummingbird Farm:
Send Hummingbird Farm a financial gift. Your financial gift can help in so many ways. A donation of any size is greatly appreciated and can add up to support the continued wellbeing of this sanctuary. HF is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization so donations are tax deductible.
Make an Appointment for a Consultation or Mentoring Session. Have a conversation with your animal companions, your power animals, or brush up on your own skills through mentoring with Tera Thomas. Sessions are 45 minutes in length and cost $90.00. 100% of fees go to Hummingbird Farm.
Take a Workshop. Reawaken your own deep connection with all of life. 100% of fees go to Hummingbird Farm.
Give a Special Gift to someone you love. Give a gift certificate for a consultation or workshop, or give a financial contribution as a gift to a friend or family member. The recipient will receive a personal card acknowledging your gift.
Order Shaklee. If you begin using Shaklee products and purchase them through our website, HF will receive a commission on each purchase. Go to our website: www.hummingbirdfarm.org and click on the Shaklee icon to find out more about changing your brand.
Leave a Gift to Hummingbird Farm in your will. Hummingbird Farm will be here for the future, a home to domestic and wild animals, a place of nature and beauty where all life is respected and held sacred. If Hummingbird Farm has been an inspiration to you, help to make sure that it is available for others.

Our Wish List
Good quality hay is very expensive this year—around $12 per bale. It will cost us nearly $4,000 just in hay to get us through the winter.
The roof on the storage shed is nearly falling in and replacing it will cost around $2,500
Six broken windows need to be replaced—$600
We need to re-level and add grit to the horse’s dry lot and the goat & llama shade place—$1,500
We’d love to add corral panels to make the horses’ area larger, plus it will need screenings for secure footing—$1,500
We need to replace the large barn doors—$3,500
We need to replace the rotted boards on the barn and repaint—$1,500
We need to replace part of the dog fence—$300
We need standing hay racks for the pasture so we can get the hay off the ground—$1,100
These are some things we need pretty urgently. There are, of course, always things that come up unexpectedly, and things that we’ve needed for a long time and had to put off doing. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Volunteer Work Days
Come lend a hand! It’s fun and rewarding and you get to spend time with the HF animals! Contact Lauryn at lboyd224@verizon.net and tell her a little bit about yourself and your interest. She will add you to our mailing list and let you know when we’ll be working and what we’ll be doing. I hope you’ll join us! Our next work day will be on Saturday April 14 from 9am until noon. Contact Lauryn to find out more about it.
To all the friends who donated money, tools, food, hard work, and time, thank you so much!
